The Warrenho Herd of Pedigree Aberdeen Angus was established in 1998 with the purchase of Julum Erica of Culter Gourmet and her two week old heifer calf Juliet Erica of Angling Spring. These two females have both bred well for the herd, producing amongst others Warrenho Juliet Erica BO80 (1st prize 2yr old RASE 2004, pictured) and Warrenho Jonny Eric C114 who was sold to be herd sire at Mr & Mrs R. Venner's Woodington herd. BO80's first son Just Eric E165 was both used and shown in 2007 acheiving Male Champion at the South of England and 2nd prize RASE 2007 and has since been sold to Alan Robbins Lanson herd, her second calf Juno Eric G217 was also shown succesfully in 2008 before being sold to Mrs Minshull's Ascott herd.
The herd was further expanded with the addition of two Eastfield cows, both by Golatio of Haymount. The first of these, Eastfield Ethelda Y279, acheived three breed championships in 2006. Her fisr son, Warrenho Emperor D141, was placed 2nd prize RASE 2006 where he was sold to Tom Rennie's Mosston Muir herd. He is now both breeding well (1st calf 5,000gns) and acheving championships in the show ring including Reserve Male Champion at the Royal Highland and 1st prize RASE 2007.
